About the role
Currently, an opportunity has arisen for a People and Culture Advisor, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, responsible for coordinating a broad range of activities across all areas of the employment life cycle. Reporting to and working closely with the People and Culture Manager, this role plays a critical role in creating a high performing and highly engaged workforce.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant discipline and previous experience in a People and Culture Generalist role. As well as:
- A solid understanding of industrial and employee relations principles with the ability to effectively interpret enterprise agreements and Modern Awards and be confident in providing advice to a broad range of stakeholders
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish trust and build strong relationships to provide a high level of general and tailored People and Culture support and advice to all levels of the organisation
- A proactive and level-headed approach with proven time management, ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals and work concurrently on multiple tasks and work schedules, whilst ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to articulate issues, including well developed analytical, problem-solving and research skills necessary to identify appropriate and relevant strategies for problems
- Willingness to travel across the various sites located on the Central Coast and in the Hunter region
- Passion/interest in the community or human services sector
