ADSSI welcomes immediate release of 20,000 Home Care Packages
Hunter and Central Coast home care group ADSSI Limited has welcomed the Australian Government’s announcement to immediately release 20,000 additional Home Care Packages, enabling more older Australians to receive the support they need at home.
John Baillie, CEO of ADSSI Limited, said the organisation, through its group of local services, is pleased with the decision to release the packages, which will allow older Australians to be cared for when they most need it.
“We look forward to supporting more members of our community to live their best lives with care at home.
“As a group of local services, our teams work hard every day to provide vital aged care support at home, by locals, for locals. We’re an approved Home Care Package provider ready for the upcoming reforms, including the Support at Home program.
“Older people and their families can be confident that ADSSI is prepared to make the transition seamless,” said Mr Baillie.
ADSSI also acknowledges and welcomes the strong advocacy of Ageing Australia, the sector’s peak body, which has publicly supported the announcement and reinforced that providers are ready to deliver more care.

ADSSI will continue working closely with clients, carers, and partners to ensure timely access to services that help older Australians remain
safe, connected, and independent at home.
