Position Vacant: Occupational Therapist
Are you looking to kick-start your career in Occupational Therapy?
We have a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our experienced team on either a part-time or full-time basis. You will be responsible for providing high-quality community-based services to clients under Aged Care (Commonwealth Home Support Program, Home Care Packages, and Short Term Restorative Care) and National Disability Insurance Scheme funding. The service aims to promote functional independence built on restorative and reablement principles to enable clients to remain living their best life at home.
- Maitland or the Central Coast, NSW
- Full or part-time
- $45.00 – $52.25/hr
In this role, you will be required to complete:
- Functional assessments
- Equipment and Assistive Technology prescription
- Minor and major home modifications
- Falls prevention
- Manual handling education

About you
We are looking for an eager OT who is looking to take on a new challenge.
You’ll need tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and experience in conducting assessments and working collaboratively with all parties involved to achieve positive participation and service outcomes.
Together with:
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- A keen interest in working with the elderly, younger people who live with disability or people with dementia and their carers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage your caseload
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused style and approach
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Current NSW Driver Licence and a safe driving record
- A current NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccinations (including COVID-19 Booster)
